Four stops. Three food and craft cocktail pairings. A dessert course to finish. And a brand new theme every single month – every tour is different!

This is Fairhope on a Friday afternoon the way locals do it. We start at 4pm and walk a little over a mile through downtown, stopping at four of the best food establishments in town. Between them we stop at the corners of town and share stories about our unique history in the very place it happened.

Every Month Is a Different Afternoon

This is the part that brings people back two and three times a year. The route stays great. The theme changes completely. New cocktails, new plates, a new dessert, and a different set of stories along the way.

Friday, October 23 & 30 · 4pm

Haunted Fairhope

Dark spirits and darker stories. Witches Sangria at Pearl, The Nightshade at Little Bird, and Vampire Punch at the Social Club, with stops at the old jail and the cemetery in between. The strange history most people who live here have never heard.

Friday, November 20 · 4pm

Friendsgiving

Everything you love about the holiday table, poured and plated across four downtown kitchens. Bring the people you are thankful for and let somebody else do the cooking.

Friday, December 18 · 4pm

Christmas in Fairhope

Downtown is lit up and the whole town looks like a postcard. Holiday cocktails, warm plates, and the best walk of the year. This one sells out first.

Friday, January 29 · 4pm

Mardi Gras on the Bay

Mobile Bay invented this holiday and we take it seriously. Carnival cocktails, Gulf Coast plates, and the real story of how it all started right across the water.

Each date is capped at 16 guests. Themed crawls fill early, so book the month you want.

The Afternoon, Stop by Stop

Here is how October runs. Every month follows the same rhythm with a completely different menu.

Pearl

Gulf oysters and fresh fish from a Culinary Institute trained kitchen. Smoked fish dip, redfish, swordfish, and tuna, with the first cocktail of the day.

Little Bird

Some of the most talented drink curators on the Gulf Coast, and they treat the monthly theme as a personal challenge. Chargrilled oysters and a chef’s special that changes every crawl.

Fairhope Social Club

Pickle chicken sliders, wings, and the cocktail everybody photographs. This is the stop where the group settles in and strangers start talking to each other.

Mr. Gene’s Beans

We finish with a themed dessert at a Fairhope institution. Sitting down, no rush, and the right way to end an afternoon like this one.

Cocktail Crawl FAQ

What is the Fairhope Happy Hour Cocktail Crawl?

It is a guided walking tour of four downtown Fairhope restaurants and bars, with three craft cocktails, four courses of food, and a themed dessert to finish. Along the way you stop at the old city hall and jail, the cemetery, and other pieces of Fairhope history. Every month has a different theme, so the cocktails, the plates, and the stories change each time.

How much does the Cocktail Crawl cost?

$119 per person, which covers all food, drinks, and tax at the restaurants. Tour guide gratuity is not included.

How long is the tour and how far do we walk?

Two and a half hours, from 4pm to 7:00pm, covering a little over a mile through downtown Fairhope. The pace is relaxed and the walk between stops is short.

Do I have to drink to come on the tour?

No. The food is worth the trip on its own and our partners will happily pour you something non-alcoholic instead. All guests must be 21 or older.

Can I book a private cocktail crawl?

Yes. Private crawls run for groups of 8 or more on the date that works for you, and you can pick the theme. Get in touch and we will build it around your group.

What happens if it rains?

The crawl runs rain or shine. We provide ponchos when we need them, and the walk between stops is short.
